Rules

New semester = new skill

For every studio project, try to choose something new to include in your workflow: new technology, new approach, new theory, new literature. With this approach, after 8 semesters in school, you will have learned 8 new skills on top of all the other things you learn in the regular courses.

Arrive on time

Imagine you need to catch a plane to your dream holiday destination.
Except it's not a plane but our studio activities. And it's not your dream destination in fact it is your dream destination.

Be present

When we discuss, when someone speaks, when a guest gives a talk, put down your phone and listen. And think. And ask.

Campsite rule

Leave our studio / kitchen / computers / devices in an equal (or better) condition than you found them.
Clean up after yourself and create the best environment for your classmates.

Make friends and connections

The greatest value of school often comes not from the education itself, but from the friendships and social connections you make. Offer your help to your peers, ask for help from them, play games together, grab a beer, visit exhibition openings, go to concerts...

Solve problems when they appear, not after

Sometimes life, work, health, or just sheer bad luck create circumstances that prevent you from keeping up with your schoolwork and meeting deadlines. When this happens, let your teacher(s) know as soon as possible so that we can look for solutions together. It’s always better to look for solutions ahead than to look for excuses afterwards.

Biela noc (Bratislava, SK)

Biela noc offers visitors an unusual artistic walk through the city at night, full of experiences and new sensations, which lasts from sunset to sunrise. For one extraordinary weekend, night becomes day and the streets of the night city are filled with people and art.
